HISTORY		FOCUS
The Elsie Allen Health Center (EAHC) was first opened in 1995 and was funded and run by St. Joseph Health Foundation. It initially catered to the students at Elsie Allen High School, but was soon serving students from the entire Santa Rosa area. The operation of the clinic was taken over by Southwest Community Health Center in Oct 2001.		Since we began seeing patients, EAHC has provided primary care for adolescents. We focus on self-care, general health care, sensitive services and preventive care

SUCCESS		DID YOU KNOW?
We are assisting adolescents through their roller coaster of life. We are able to help them become stronger and healthier through education and treatment. In addition, we have successfully enrolled uninsured patients and their families into insurance programs.		Our family planning services are no cost and are confidential to all teens. We also offer full comprehensive health services.

Services Offer for Teens:

•		Treatment for illness and injury
•		Immunizations such as Polio, Td, Tdap, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Meningoccal, HPV, Varicella, MMR, and Flu vaccine
•		Physicals for sports and employment
•		Mental health counseling and services
•		Referral for drug treatment

•		Optometry and dental service referrals
•		Birth control counseling and methods ; preventative health education
•		Pregnancy testing
•		STD testing and treatment; HIV testing
•		Emergency contraception

Did you know? You can get confidential family planning related services (i.e. birth control, Plan B, pregnancy tests, HIV/STD testing, etc.) WITHOUT parental consents. However, for immunizations, physicals, and other types of healthcare offered at Elsie Allen Health Center, we required parental consents.
